Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in SUN VALLEY, CA. You will serve and safeguard clients in a logistics and distribution environment, providing a visible security presence to deter incidents and support access control.

You will conduct routine patrols, monitor entry points, assist visitors, and deliver exceptional customer service while adhering to site policies and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year in security-related field.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• State/city-issued security license preferred.
• Comfort using computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Allied Universal considers applicants with criminal histories as permitted by law.
• Drug screen required where applicable.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/locality.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Access Verification in SUN VALLEY, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a busy logistics and distribution location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will conduct routine patrols, support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide exceptional customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, trailer yards, parking lots, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, drivers, and visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Observe and report potential hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations while maintaining accurate activity and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
