Job summary

Doyle Security Services is seeking a vigilant security guard to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, performing patrols to protect property and personnel. The role requires standing for most of the shift and effective communication in English and Spanish.

The position offers opportunities to complete reports, monitor surveillance, and respond to incidents under supervisor direction. A High School Diploma or GED and a Florida Class D license are preferred requirements.

Qualifications

• Must be able to understand English and Spanish and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form.
• Possession of a Florida Class D Security Guard License may be required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Thursday, Friday, Saturday 1800 PM - 0400 AM

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.
