Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a vigilant security guard to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, ensuring safety for people and property. The role requires standing for long periods and successful communication in English and Spanish.

Shifts run Wednesday through Sunday from 15:00 to 23:00. Candidates should have a Florida Class D license, High School diploma, and the ability to operate guard duties. Competitive benefits accompany this on-site position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required.
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required.
• Class D Florida Security Guard License.
• Must understand English and Spanish and communicate effectively in both written and spoken form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities and inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Complete reports by recording observations and surveillance activities.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Wednesday - Sunday from 1500-2300

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Class D Florida Security Guard License
• Must be able to understand the English and Spanis language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
