Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a security guard to observe and report activities at a client site, patrol premises, and monitor access points to ensure safety. The role requires standing for most of the workday and offering excellent customer service.

You will complete detailed reports, de-escalate situations, and follow directives from the supervisor. Weekend availability and a valid NYS Security Guard License are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must have a valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Available to work weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Observe and report activities and incidents at the client site.
• Perform periodic client-site patrols to ensure security and safety.
• Secure premises and personnel by monitoring access points and surveillance systems.
• Complete reports documenting observations, incidents, and interviews.
• Accept tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Monday-Friday 1600-0000

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.40/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications
