Job summary

Doyle Security Services Inc. is seeking a Security Guard to observe and report activities at a client site, patrol premises, and enforce site regulations. The role requires standing for most of the shift and attention to safety and security procedures.

Schedule includes Sundays 7AM-3PM and Mon/Tue/Wed 7AM-5PM. Valid NYS Security Guard License and a driver’s license are required, as well as good English communication skills and physical fitness.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must understand English and communicate effectively in speech and writing.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks.

Responsibilities

• Report irregularities; inform violators of policy and procedures.
• Secure premises and personnel by patrolling, monitor surveillance, inspect access points.
• Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Sunday 7AM-3PM & Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday 7AM-5PM

Pay Range

Up to USD $20.00/Hr.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Valid NYS Security Guard License
• Must have valid drivers license
• Must be able to understand the English language and communicate effectively in both the verbal and written form
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
