Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. in New York is seeking a vigilant Security Guard to protect client property and personnel at a designated site.

You will observe and report incidents, conduct regular patrols, and enforce site regulations. The role requires standing for most of the shift and strong communication in English.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, a NYS Security Guard License, a valid driver''s license, and the ability to work Tuesday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Qualifications

• 5-7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Proficient in English (spoken and written).
• Physically able to perform the duties of the position.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitoring surveillance equipment; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
• Completes reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.

Overview

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Schedule

Tuesday-Friday 0730-1700

Pay Range

Up to USD $19.00/Hr.
