Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking an Armed Shift Supervisor to oversee security officers and ensure client site safety. The role requires leadership, coaching, and adherence to post orders while maintaining high service levels.

Candidates must hold a Florida Class D Guard license and an armed license, be at least 21, and be capable of working a 6:00 AM–2:00 PM shift. bilingual English/Spanish helpful and a strong customer service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Armed Florida security license (D & G) required.
• Class D Florida Security Guard License.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be able to understand and communicate in English and Spanish.
• 5-7 year U.S. work history may be required.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks and work flexible shifts.

Responsibilities

• Oversees security operations as an armed shift supervisor at client site.
• Coaches and disciplines officers; documents actions and reports.
• Trains officers and reviews post orders for assignments.
• Ensures adequate post coverage and conducts inspections.
• Meets with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met.

Observes and reports activities and incidents at an assigned client site, providing for the security and safety of client property and personnel. Makes periodic tours to check for irregularities. Preserves order and may act to enforce regulations and directives for the site pertaining to personnel, visitors, and premises. Work requires the ability to stand for the majority of workday.

Monday - Friday 0600 AM - 1400 PM

USD $21.00 - USD $21.00 /Hr.

• Functions as an Armed Shift Supervisor for a team of Security Officers, Lead Officers and other company personnel assigned to one or more posts at client site, acts to ensure that all post orders are followed, that established rounds are completed, and that adequate reports are filed; notifies proper authorities and client in emergency situations.
• Coaches and disciplines personnel as appropriate; seeks advice from company management or designated representatives as appropriate; meets personally with employees and documents coaching and disciplinary actions.
• Trains Security Officers, reviews post orders and other details of assignments with subordinates.
• In conjunction with company management or designated representatives ensures adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Inspects posts as schedules and meets with subordinates to outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meets with client representatives as scheduled or as needed to provide assurance that all security requirements are being met and to provide quality customer service.
• High School Diploma / GED required
• 5-7 Year U.S. work history may be required
• Class D Florida Security Guard License
• Must have a valid Florida Armed D & G Guard license.
• Military experience a plus
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Minimum High School Diploma / GED
• Must be able to understand both English and Spanish and communicate effectively in both verbal and written form.
• Must be physically able to perform the tasks required by the position
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, holidays and weekends
• Customer Service Experience is required
