Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring in Kansas City for professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills. The role is an on-site, flex/on-call position with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour.

Candidates must be 21+, have a valid driver’s license and pass a background check and drug test. Prior related experience is a plus; retirees and veterans are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report security incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Carry out control procedures when necessary.

• Investigate breaches of property.

We are recruiting for professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.

Pay Rate:$19.00/hr.,

Schedule:

Flex Position / On Call

Requirements:

Must be 21 years or older have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel and be able to pass a background check and drug test

Prior law enforcement experience, Military experience and/or 2 years of Unarmed Security in a plus.

Retirees and VETERANS welcome.

You will help to prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, performing control procedures
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements:

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
• A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
• A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
