Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring unarmed security officers to join our trusted team. You will provide security services with a focus on excellent customer service and professional conduct.

Position offers 1st shift with Mon-Fri 7am-3pm, part-time and full-time options, and opportunities across multiple sites. Comprehensive training, weekly pay, and veteran/retiree encouragement are available to qualified applicants.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and security skills are required.
• Must present professionally and work independently or as part of a team.
• Ability to pass a drug screen and have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report security incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports.

IPSC is recruiting Unarmed Security Officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.

Pay Rate: $15.00 per hour (paid weekly)

Scheduled: Mon-Fri. 7am-3pm

Position Overview:

You will help prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences
• Performing control procedures when necessary
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property

Requirements:

• Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills
• Professional presentation
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation
• Active cellphone
• Ability to pass a drug screen

Physical & Mental Job Requirements:

• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in emergencies
• Ability to read and interpret written information
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle, if required
• Ability to detect sounds such as alarms, distress signals, or hazards in noisy environments
• Ability to walk, run, stand, climb, and sit for extended periods
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs., if required
• Ability to make quick, sound decisions in emergency situations
• Must meet state licensing requirements for Security Officers (or be able to obtain)
