Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is seeking professional unarmed security officers with exceptional customer service and security skills to join our team in Florissant, MO. The role offers $17.00–$18.00 per hour, with weekly pay, and both full-time and part-time positions available across 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends.

Requirements include being 18+, able to walk/stand long periods, and passing a drug screen. Guard card training is provided.

Job Skills / Requirements

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is recruiting for professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.

Pay Rate: $17.00 - $18.00 , paid every week

Inside Patrol Guard Position

Shift Time:

Requirements : Must be at least 18 years or older and be able to walk / stand for long periods of time.

-Guard card training will be provided to the right candidate

Prior law enforcement experience, Military experience and/or 2 years of Unarmed Security in a plus.

Full-time and part-time positions available.

Retirees and VETERANS welcome.

You will help to prevent and deter crime through:

• Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises
• Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences
• When necessary, performing control procedures
• Operating emergency equipment
• Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports
• Investigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements:

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
• A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
• A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
