Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is seeking professional security officers in Biloxi, MS with excellent customer service and security skills. We offer both full-time and part-time positions with a starting rate of $13.00 per hour, paid weekly.

The shift runs 3:30am to 11:30pm, and candidates must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record. The ideal candidate has prior law enforcement or military experience and/or two years of unarmed security experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be at least 21 years old with valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Prior law enforcement or military experience preferred; unarmed security experience considered.
• Able to pass a drug screen and background check.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report any security incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences.
• Operate required emergency equipment and document nightly operations.
• File weekly reports and investigate breaches of property.

IPSC is recruiting for professional security officers in Biloxi, MS with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.

$13.00 per hour, paid weekly

Schedule:

3:30am-11:30pm

Candidate's must be at least 21 years of age, have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.

The ideal candidate will have: Prior law enforcement experience, Military experience and/or 2 years of Unarmed Experience. Training and uniform will be provided to the right candidate. Full-time and part-time positions available. Retirees and VETERANS welcome. You will help to prevent and deter crime through:Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premisesReporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrencesWhen necessary, performing control proceduresOperating emergency equipmentDocumenting nightly operations and filing weekly reportsInvestigating breaches of propertyYou must meet the following requirements:

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
• A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
• A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
