Job summary

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) in Festus is hiring professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our team. Full-time and part-time positions available. Pay rate: $18.00/hour, paid weekly.

Shift times: 12:00 pm – 12:00 am. Requires walking/standing, 18+ years old, ability to work flexible days, and ability to pass a drug screen. We welcome retirees and veterans.

• Ability to work as a team member and solo on a flexible roster.
• Willingness to work a 7-day schedule and pass a drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular and random patrols of multiple premises.
• Report security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences.
• Operate emergency equipment as needed.
• Document nightly operations and file weekly reports.
• Investigate breaches of property.

Inner Parish Security Corporation (IPSC) is hiring in Festus! We are recruiting for professional unarmed security officers with excellent customer service and security skills to join our highly regarded team.

Pay Rate: $18.00/hr., paid every week!

Shift Time: 12:00 pm - 12:00 am

Requirements: This position requires a lot of walking and standing. Must be 18 years or older and be able to walk / stand for long periods of time.

Prior law enforcement experience, Military experience and/or 2 years of Unarmed Security in a plus.

Full-time and part-time positions available. Retirees and VETERANS welcome.

You will help to prevent and deter crime through: Performing both regular and random patrols of multiple premises Reporting any security-related incidents, hazards or unusual occurrences When necessary, performing control procedures Operating emergency equipment Documenting nightly operations and filing weekly reports Investigating breaches of property

You must meet the following requirements: Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills Sound communication skills Professional presentation Ability to work as a team member and solo Willingness and ability to work to a flexible roster, 7 days a week Reliable transport Active cellphone Ability to pass a drug screen

Physical and Mental Job Requirements:

• Must have effective written and verbal communication skills and must be able to communicate clearly and quickly in cases of emergency.
• A Security Officer must be able to read and interpret written information under a variety of circumstances.
• A Security Officer must be able to drive a motor vehicle in the course of his/her duties if required.
• A Security Officer must be able to detect and identify sounds relevant to fires, floods, alarm signals, and persons in distress against distracting sound background conditions (e.g., machinery, traffic noise, etc.)
• A Security Officer must be able to: Walk, Run, Stand, Climb, Sit.
• A Security Officer must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. waist high, if required.
• A Security Officer must be in good mental health and be able to make decisions instantly on the event of an emergency.
• A Security Officer must meet the physical and mental requirements of the state(s) to be licensed by the state to perform Security Guard / Security Officer work. Must be able to obtain the status of license required for the position, either Armed or Unarmed.
