Job Description

As a Unarmed Security Guard Train Station Full Time in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. You will support a professional environment by reporting concerns and responding to security-related situations. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and notification procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, reporting policy violations, maintenance concerns, and potential hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol documentation in accordance with site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Handcuffing certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
