Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law and company policy.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and the public while enforcing site-specific security procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $26.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Wed 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Thur 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and/or members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions, unauthorized activity, or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures; direct visitors and vendors to appropriate locations as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to policy.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• CPR and First Aid experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
