Job Description

As a Unarmed Security Officer Graveyard Train Station in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a government location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service and clear communication while supporting a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $26.79 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• DayTimeMon10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Fri10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sat10:00 PM - 06:30 AM
• Sun10:00 PM - 06:30 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
• Monitor access points, check credentials as required, and maintain awareness of activity in assigned areas to help deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
• Conduct regular and random foot or vehicle patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activity accurately and communicate relevant information to site representatives and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of experience in a security-related role is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
