This role offers a flexible schedule via our Shift-claim platform, emphasizes customer service and professional incident response, and pays $21.25 per hour for part-time work. Schedule: Mon 2:00 PM–10:00 PM and Tue 2:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Minimum age 18 for unarmed roles (21+ for armed).
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as per federal/state/local laws.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or contractors at a commercial real estate location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the property, documenting incidents, maintenance concerns, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with site procedures.
• Communicate professionally with property management, tenants, visitors, and emergency responders while maintaining detailed activity logs and incident reports.

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
