Job summary

Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed TWIC Perimeter Driver to safeguard government port facilities and support access control.

You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, observe and report, and maintain logs while coordinating with emergency responders. This driving role includes day-to-day security operations and customer service.

Qualifications

• TSA-issued TWIC (transport security) required or preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required per policy.
• Guard card/license preferred.
• 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screening as part of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and port personnel.
• Respond calmly to incidents and access concerns following post orders and protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of waterfront facilities and perimeters.
• Monitor entry/exit activity, verify authorized access, and maintain logs and reports.
• Assist with traffic flow and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
