Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer TWIC Unarmed Patrol Driver Incident Response in Jacksonville, FL. You will safeguard clients across a Government port and deliver excellent customer service while following site-specific procedures and policies.

This full-time role requires a valid TWIC and driving license, with opportunities for training, growth, and benefits including health and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• TSA-issued TWIC required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to port visitors, employees, contractors, and drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, facilities, access points, parking areas, waterfront perimeters, and other assigned areas; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
• Monitor access points and check credentials, identification, and vehicle or visitor authorization in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to appropriate personnel and emergency responders as needed.
• Complete required reports, activity logs, and incident documentation accurately and promptly, while helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
