Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Area Patrol Driver to serve at a government port location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible security presence, and provide outstanding customer service and communication.

This driving post requires a valid driver's license and a TSA-issued TWIC; you must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles. Background checks and drug screening are part of employment.

Qualifications

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or vendors at a government maritime transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, suspicious activity, and critical situations with professional communication.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify security concerns.
• Monitor and control access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and maintain logs and reports.
• Communicate professionally with port users and government personnel per post orders and emergency protocols.
