Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Driver in Peoria, IL. You will patrol facilities, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while maintaining a visible, trustworthy security presence.

Requirements include a valid driver’s license, 18+ for unarmed roles, and a background check. This full-time, daytime driving role offers opportunities to grow within a large security services organization.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation as per federal/state/local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories.
• Drug screen may be required.
• Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a utility-related industrial location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access and maintain visitor/contractor/vehicle records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, clear manner and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
• Prepare clear daily activity reports and report maintenance or security issues.
