Responsibilities

Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a utility-related industrial location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor entry and exit activity, verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures, and maintain required visitor, contractor, and vehicle records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations promptly to site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as required.
Prepare clear, accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation, and report maintenance, lighting, access-control, or other property conditions that may require attention.
