Allied Universal in Peoria, IL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver to support clients in a manufacturing and industrial setting. The role emphasizes customer service, proactive patrolling, and adherence to site policies while maintaining a welcoming environment for employees and visitors.

You will drive on-site routes, verify credentials, report incidents, and help deter unauthorized activity.

Qualifications

Minimum requirements include a valid driver’s license and high school diploma.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Must be able to operate a computer or tablet.
Ages: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols in manufacturing areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor location access by verifying credentials, directing authorized visitors, and reporting unauthorized entry attempts or unusual activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and document accurately for reporting.
Observe and report conditions such as unsecured doors, damaged fencing, or equipment irregularities to site leadership.
