Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Specialist in Peoria, IL. You will monitor production areas, deter incidents with a visible presence, and provide professional customer service while reporting security concerns.

This full-time role requires at least 1 year of security experience, CPR/First Aid preferred, and the ability to use computer devices. You must be 18+ and pass background checks; a driver’s license is required for driving roles.

Qualifications

• 1 year security-related experience or more.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check in accordance with laws; driving license for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service and implement site security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and follow post orders.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas and perimeters.
• Verify credentials and monitor access; report unusual activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations to leadership.
