As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Operations in Cary, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a public education location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while responding to concerns with professionalism. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and/or community members while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or unauthorized access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school district and Allied Universal procedures.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with directing visitors, and report policy violations or suspicious behavior to appropriate school personnel and/or emergency responders.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
