Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Wilmington, NC. You will monitor campus areas, provide customer service to students and staff, and respond to security incidents with professional communication and teamwork.

Position type: Full Time. Pay rate: $15.00 per hour. Schedule includes weekday day shifts with recurring blocks. Qualifications include 6 months security experience and a HS diploma; background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff and visitors while following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly, notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or hazards.
• Prepare incident reports and liaise with campus stakeholders and emergency responders.
