Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services provider, is seeking a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Driver in San Jose, CA. This full-time role involves patrolling a retail/mall environment, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a visible security presence.

The position requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to lift up to 20 pounds. Training and advancement opportunities are available, with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screening may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by carrying out security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols throughout the retail property to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious behavior or hazards according to site procedures.
• Complete incident reports and maintain professional communication with leadership and site representatives.
