Allied Universal is hiring a Security Guard Full Time Unarmed Deterrence Patrol in SAN JOSE, CA. The role involves safeguarding clients, patrolling premises, and maintaining a visible presence to deter incidents.

You will deliver customer service and respond to security concerns while following site policies, and supporting access control activities. The position is full-time with a pay rate of $23.95 per hour, offering a path for growth and access to benefits.

Qualifications

• Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity in accordance with site procedures; report unusual conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete detailed activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns to Allied Universal leadership and client representatives.
