Qualifications

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A valid driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, and visitors while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations following established protocols and contacting campus personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious conditions, hazards, and policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrol activities and incidents through accurate reports and maintain professional communication with the campus community.
