Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include a guard card/license preferred.
• Be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law; drug screen per policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and campus guests while following site procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed campus patrols of buildings, parking areas, walkways, and perimeters.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and professionally; communicate observations to proper channels.
• Monitor access points and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and violations to designated personnel.
• Support emergency response activities and provide directions to occupants and first responders as needed.
