Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) for Honolulu, HI. You will provide access control, patrols, and customer service to tenants and staff.

This role supports a welcoming environment while maintaining safety and security across the property. You will conduct routine patrols, deter incidents, respond professionally to security concerns, and help maintain a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state/local laws and regulations.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of commercial property common areas, parking facilities, building exteriors, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor, contractor, and delivery entry procedures in accordance with site requirements.
• Document daily activities, patrol observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns through accurate reports and timely communication with site contacts.
