Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Routine Patrol in Honolulu, HI. You will protect clients across Education and related settings by patrolling, maintaining a visible presence, and assisting students, faculty, staff, and visitors with a professional, courteous demeanor.

The role requires responding to incidents, monitoring access points, and maintaining detailed incident reports.

Qualifications

License in security is preferred.
Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check conducted as per federal, state and local laws.
Drug screening required as a condition of employment where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements vary by state/local laws and may be required before employment.
A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors while following site procedures and emergency protocols.
Conduct regular unarmed patrols of campus facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter incidents.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and in accordance with established protocols.
Monitor access points and observe campus activity; report hazards and concerns to relevant personnel.
Document patrol activities and incidents with accurate reports and maintain professional communication with the campus community.
