Allied Universal in Chicago, IL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Care Patrol. You will provide customer service, conduct routine patrols, deter security incidents, and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professional service.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Background history considered in accordance with laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by carrying out security procedures and emergency responses.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Conduct regular foot and vehicle patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and parking areas.
• Monitor access points and support valid entry procedures for academic, residential, and administrative locations.
• Document incidents and patrol activity and communicate with supervisors and campus personnel.
