Allied Universal is seeking an Unarmed Security Officer in Chicago for a Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver role. You will provide customer service to students, staff, and visitors while patrolling campus facilities, deterring incidents, and maintaining a welcoming environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners while carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of campus buildings, grounds, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to appropriate personnel and following established protocols.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor direction, reporting suspicious activity, hazardous conditions, or policy violations through designated channels.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity reports and maintain professional interactions with the campus community.

Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Service – Chicago, IL

As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic educational location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, team-oriented, and integrity-driven values.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule: Mon 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM, Fri 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM, Sat 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM, Sun 03:00 PM - 01:00 AM.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
