Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, seeks a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Customer Care Patrol in Chicago, IL. You will patrol campus areas, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff and visitors.

This role includes evening shifts with a pay rate of $19.50 per hour, plus opportunities for training, benefits, and career growth within a caring team.

Qualifications

Customer service experience is preferred.
Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Background check as per laws.
Drug screen where permitted by law.
Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and campus partners by following procedures and campus policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and access concerns in a calm, professional manner.
Conduct regular patrols of campus buildings, grounds, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor access points and support entry procedures for specified locations.
Document incidents and patrol activity and report to supervisors.
