Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Awareness in Chicago, IL to safeguard clients across multiple industries. You will patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service as part of a dynamic and collaborative team.

The role emphasizes responsible reporting, professional conduct, and engagement with clients to ensure a secure and welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of security-related experience.
• Age: 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Background histories considered in compliance with laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols across the property.
• Monitor for unusual activity, hazards, and access concerns and document observations.
• Assist with access control, visitor interactions, and incident reporting while maintaining a professional presence.
