Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai is seeking a friendly and service-driven Server Assistant to support ULU Ocean Grill team. You will assist servers, welcome guests, and help with food and beverage service in a fast-paced, oceanfront setting, ensuring warm, personalized hospitality. A minimum of 3–12 months in hospitality or guest service is preferred.

Hawaii TB clearance may be required. Legal work authorization in the United States is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–12 months of restaurant or hospitality experience.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Hawaii TB clearance requirement for food & beverage work.

Responsibilities

• Supporting Restaurant Servers with attentive, anticipatory service throughout the guest dining experience.
• Greeting guests warmly and professionally while delivering personalized hospitality.
• Serving food and beverages and describing menu selections clearly.
• Assisting with food delivery from the kitchen and ensuring accurate presentations.
• Stocking and maintaining linens, china, silverware, glassware, and service stations to Four Seasons standards.
• Preparing condiments, garnishes, and mise en place for service.
• Resetting, cleaning, and maintaining tables and dining areas throughout service.
• Assisting with buffet, station, and dining room setup and breakdown.
• Anticipating guest needs and responding promptly to requests.
• Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

WHAT TO BRING

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
• Previous restaurant, hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service experience preferred.
• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or related experience required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences.
• Ability to safely carry trays and transport food and beverage items.
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
