Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualalai in Kailua, Hawaii seeks an In Room Dining - Room Service Server to deliver restaurant-quality service to guests in their suites and villas. You will present menu items, anticipate needs, and collaborate with culinary and Front of House teams.

The role requires a high school diploma, TB clearance, and at least one year in food service; on-site training, weekend/holiday shifts, and a comprehensive benefits package are provided.

Qualifications

• Hawaii health TB clearance required.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of food service, restaurant, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to carry and balance trays in a physically active environment.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather and weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms and villas while ensuring quality, presentation, and timeliness.
• Provide personalized service by describing menu items, ingredients, flavors, and preparation methods with confidence and enthusiasm.
• Anticipate guest needs, respond to special requests, and create memorable experiences through thoughtful service.
• Set up, maintain, and clear In Room Dining tables, trays, and service stations.
• Process guest checks accurately and ensure all transactions are completed properly.
• Assist with order taking and preparation of small food items as needed.
• Work collaboratively with culinary, stewarding, and Front of House teams to deliver seamless guest experiences.
• Uphold Four Seasons standards of luxury service, professionalism, and genuine care.

IN ROOM DINING - ROOM SERVICE SERVER

Our In Room Dining (Room Service) team delivers restaurant-quality dining experiences directly to our guests' accommodations throughout the resort. From breakfast on a private lanai to late-night dining requests, our team plays an important role in creating memorable guest experiences through attentive service, exceptional food and beverage knowledge, and genuine hospitality. In Room Dining Servers are ambassadors of the resort, bringing the Four Seasons experience directly to our guests wherever they are on property.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver food and beverage orders to guest rooms and villas while ensuring quality, presentation, and timeliness.

What To Bring

• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• At least one year of food service, restaurant, hospitality, or related experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.
• Ability to carry and balance trays and comfortably work in a physically active environment.
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Attention to detail, accuracy, and a commitment to excellence.
• Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, evenings, and varying schedules based on operational needs.
