Job summary

Four Seasons Resort Hualālai in Hawaii is seeking a Pool and Beach Server who delivers Forbes 5 Star service. You will greet guests, describe pool offerings, and coordinate food and beverage with precision to ensure a premium guest experience.

This role requires 3–12 months of hospitality experience, US work eligibility, and weekend/holiday availability. You will work in an active outdoor environment and benefit from extensive on-site wellness and employee programs.

Qualifications

• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage experience.
• Legal work authorization in United States.
• TB clearance required by Hawaii DoH.
• Weekend and Holiday availability required.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests, drop off QR code/menu, and introduce yourself; use guest name during interaction.
• Accurately describe pool hours, offerings and specials of the day.
• Describe menu items with origin, taste and prep methods; relay orders to kitchen/bar using Micros.
• Coordinate food and beverage timings and deliver items within timing standards.
• Ensure order quality by checking previously delivered items.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions to enhance experience.
• Manage designated section and check in with guests for satisfaction.
• Detail area daily; keep space clean and fully stocked.
• Close guest checks; process cash/credit payments; settle voided checks.
• Complete closing paperwork and tip out staff appropriately.
• Maintain Forbes 5 Star standards and work as a team to prioritize guest experience.

POOL AND BEACH SERVER

The Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is looking for a Pool and Beach Server who share a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. Our Pool and Beach Servers have the opportunity to shape our guest experience by providing exceptional knowledge of the Resort and exemplifying the Golden Rule in each interaction. Work authorization required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Proactively greet guests, drop off a QR code/menu, introduce yourself and inform them that you will be taking care of them for the day. After introduction, use guest name during interaction.
• Accurately describe your pool’s hours of service, offerings, and specials of the day.
• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting and vivid descriptions of each item’s origin, taste and preparation methods; communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen/ bar using the resorts Micros.
• Coordinate food & beverage timings and deliver items within the proper timing standards.
• Ensure proper quality of orders by checking on previously delivered items.
• Anticipate guest needs and offer suggestions that will enhance their experience. Respond to guest requests and concerns urgently and appropriately.
• Manage designated section and continuously checking in with guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Detail your area daily to ensure your space is clean and organized as well as ensuring the area is fully stocked with necessary inventory.
• Properly and accurately close guest checks; process cash and credit card payments; properly settle voided checks and complimentary meals.
• Complete closing paperwork and accurately tip out the appropriate food runner and bar staff.
• Ensure every interaction is a Forbes 5 Star experience. Learn and maintain our Pool and Beach 38 Forbes standards.
• Successfully working as a team to ensure guest experience is a priority.

• You will be working in an active outdoor environment, so you must be able to stand for long periods of time.

WHAT TO BRING

• Three to twelve months of restaurant, food and beverage, or equivalent experience is required.
• Successful candidate must possess legal work authorization in United States.
• Required by the Hawaii State Department of Health to obtain a Tuberculous (TB) clearance card when working in food and beverage.
• Weekend & Holiday availability required.
