Job summary

MaineHealth's Waldo Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist/Sonographer to perform routine ultrasound procedures under supervision and follow established protocols. This role requires ARDMS certification, Physics registry, and a current BLS card or ability to obtain one within 30 days of starting.

Education is a graduate of an approved Sonography program. Experience is not required, though six months of diagnostic ultrasound is preferred.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)

• Education: Graduate of an approved school of Sonography or equivalent combination of training and experience
• License/Certifications: Current American Registry of Diagnostic and Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) certification required. Must have completed the required Physics registry. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
• Experience: No experience necessary; six months of Diagnostic ultrasound experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
