Job summary

Grady Memorial Hospital Corporation in Atlanta seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging under radiologist supervision. Examinations include abdominal, vascular, nonpregnant pelvic, and small parts studies, with patient care spanning neonates to older adults.

You will ensure image quality, adhere to protocols, enter results in PACS and Epic, and maintain infection control including MetriCide.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One-year Diagnostic Medical Sonography program accredited by CAAHEP.
• RDMS in Abdomen or OB/GYN required at hire; dual registrations within 18 months.
• ARRT certification and registration in Sonography (S) acceptable.
• Proficiency with PACS and Epic; MetriCide knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations according to physician orders and protocols.
• Maintain patient records in PACS and Epic; ensure data accuracy.
• Ensure infection control and probe reprocessing per MetriCide procedures.
• Provide patient care and adapt to diverse patient needs; participate in quality initiatives.
