Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta seeks a Full-Time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients. Under the direction of the Radiologist, you will perform imaging procedures across clinical settings while ensuring patient safety and adherence to imaging protocols.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program required.
• Registered or registry-eligible with ARRT; certification within 6 months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms to ensure safety and hygiene.
• Verify patient identification using two identifiers and use AIDET framework during interactions.
• Track patients from start to finish to ensure workflow and documentation.
• Process, transfer, and archive images using PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
• Maintain equipment and perform routine QC checks according to manufacturer standards.
• Assist with scheduling and training of radiology staff and students.
