Job summary

Grady Health System in Atlanta is seeking a full-time Radiologic Technologist to join our diagnostic imaging team and provide high-quality radiographic imaging for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients under the supervision of a Radiologist.

You will perform procedures, ensure patient safety, manage equipment, and maintain workflow with PACS, while collaborating with physicians, nurses, and technologists to support positive patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-accredited Radiography Program.
• ARRT certification eligibility or current ARRT credential within six months of hire.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic radiographic imaging procedures for neonatal, pediatric, and adult patients.
• Prepare examination rooms and ensure safety, infection control, and hygiene standards.
• Identify patients using two identifiers and document workflow in imaging systems.
• Process and archive images via PACS and reconcile daily exceptions.
• Evaluate image quality and verify demographic data and orientation markers on all images.
• Maintain and calibrate radiographic equipment; report malfunctions to supervisors.
• Assist with scheduling, stock examination rooms, and support departmental workflow.
• Train and develop radiology staff and students as assigned.
