Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System in Huntsville, AL is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform ultrasonography procedures with minimal supervision, using independent judgment to deliver high-quality diagnostic images.

Requirements include ARDMS registration within 1 year of hire or 2 years post-graduation, BLS within 90 days, and 6 months to 1 year of clinical experience. Opportunities to specialize in vascular ultrasound are available within a renowned nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; accredited ultrasound program preferred.
• ARDMS registered within 1 year of hire or 2 years from graduation date, whichever is later. BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Six months to one year clinical experience preferred.
• Must possess excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing task frequently and quickly. Must be willing to learn vascular ultrasound.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Graduate accredited ultrasound program preferred.
