Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking an Anesthesia Technician to support the anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist by preparing and setting up equipment and supplies for each surgical case.

Education required is high school/GED with BLS within 6 months. Previous hospital experience is preferred but not required; orientation and English communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification required within first 6 months of employment.
• Previous hospital experience preferred but not required.
• Must successfully complete hospital and unit orientation.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and set up equipment and supplies for each surgical case.
• Assist anesthesia team as needed during procedures.
