SimonMed is seeking a Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, and vascular exams with high-quality imaging. You will ensure diagnostic completeness, manage your workflow, and maintain documentation in PACS/RIS/EMR systems.

Excellent communication with patients and radiologists is essential. You will mentor students, participate in QA, and stay current with multi-specialty protocols in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required or registry-eligible with path to certification
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning protocol knowledge
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff
• Commitment to QA participation and ongoing professional development
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsabilités

• Perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams—abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies
• Own the quality of every image produced; review for diagnostic completeness before radiologist review
• Maintain scanning protocols, image optimization, and real-time documentation
• Manage own workflow; keep exam area stocked and clean; support department operations
• Provide clear explanations to patients and ensure comfort and accurate clinical history
• Mentor students and contribute to QA and continuing education
