Job summary

SimonMed is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams, ensure diagnostic-quality images, and support a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment.

You will operate with autonomy, maintain efficient workflows, and contribute to QA and ongoing professional development while delivering compassionate patient care across abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN; registry-eligible with path to certification.
• Completed Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 1–2 years ultrasound experience preferred (general, OB/GYN, vascular).
• Current BLS certification and valid state licensure where required.
• Proficiency with PACS, RIS and EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams (abdomen, pelvis, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, vascular).
• Ensure image quality and diagnostic completeness before radiologist review.
• Manage own workflow in a high-volume outpatient setting; maintain clean, stocked exam area.
• Mentor students and participate in QA and continuing education.
