Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular exams with a focus on high-quality images and patient comfort.

You will review your work for diagnostic completeness, maintain a clean workflow, and support QA and education efforts in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

AR DMS certification and accredited sonography program completion are required, with BLS and state licensure as applicable.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required or registry-eligible with a path to certification.
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred.
• Current BLS certification and valid state licensure where required.
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems; attention to QA.

Responsibilities

• Perform full spectrum ultrasound exams—abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies.
• Ensure image quality and diagnostic completeness; review own work before radiologist review.
• Maintain clean, stocked exam area and support department operations independently.
• Contribute to QA participation and ongoing professional development; mentor students.
