Job summary

SimonMed is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound exams—from abdomen to OB/GYN and vascular studies—ensuring diagnostically complete images and real-time documentation. The role emphasizes patient comfort, protocol adherence, and high-volume efficiency in outpatient settings.

You'll work with PACS/RIS/EMR systems, maintain image quality, and participate in QA and professional development while mentoring students and contributing to a collaborative team culture.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in abdomen/OB-GYN or registry-eligible with clear path to certification.
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid state licensure where required.
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning protocol knowledge.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff.
• Commitment to QA participation and ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture.
