Job summary

SimonMed is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams across abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies. You will ensure diagnostic-quality images, review your work for accuracy, and maintain a clean, efficient outpatient workflow.

You will leverage PACS, RIS, and EMR systems, communicate clearly with patients and radiologists, and contribute to QA and ongoing professional development in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required — or registry-eligible with a clear path to certification
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred
• Current BLS certification
• Valid state licensure current (where required)
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning protocol knowledge
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff
• Commitment to QA participation and ongoing professional development
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams—abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular studies.
• Own the quality of every image you produce and review your own work for diagnostic completeness before radiologist review.
• Maintain a clean, stocked exam area and manage your own workflow in a high-volume outpatient setting.
• Explain procedures clearly to patients and provide compassionate, patient-centered care.
