Job summary

SimonMed is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform comprehensive ultrasound studies across abdomen, pelvis, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular exams in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

You will ensure high-quality images, review your work for diagnostic completeness, and maintain accurate real-time documentation in PACS/RIS/EMR. You will manage your workflow, educate patients, and support department operations with a professional, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required or registry-eligible with a clear path to certification.
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Strong image optimization and multi‑specialty scanning protocol knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams (abdomen, pelvic, OB/GYN across all trimesters, small parts, vascular).
• Ensure image quality and diagnostic completeness before radiologist review.
• Manage own workflow, maintain clean exam area, and support department operations.
• Provide patient explanations and compassionate care during procedures.
